HEWASA continues to collaborate with other local, national and international organizations active in the Safe Water Supply and Sanitation sector. Among these include the following:
1.SNV-Netherlands Development Organization
SNV engaged HEWASA Programme to act as its Local Capacity Builder (LCB) for other NGOs within the region. As result, HEWASA Programme is currently implementing the Community Empowerment Programme (CEP) in the two Districts of Kyenjojo and Kasese. 
2.Water Aid Uganda
HEWASA remains the Rwenzori region coordinator for the WaterAid Uganda funded Governance and Transparency Funds (GTF) Programme. Similarly, with funding from Water Aid Uganda, HEWASA Programme is also currently implementing a Post Conflict WASH Project in the two Sub Counties of Budingo and Bwijanga located in Masindi District.
3.Water for People
‘Water for People’ chose HEWASA Programme to act as its Local Development partner in Kyenjojo District. With financial and technical support from Water for People, HEWASA Programme implemented the ‘Sanitation Improvement Project’ as well as a ‘Water Supply’ project in Kyarusozi Sub County, Kyenjojo District.
4.Uganda Water and Sanitation NGO Network (UWASNET)
HEWASA Programme continues to serve as the Rwenzori regional coordinator for UWASNET responsible for coordinating all the UWASNET activities within the region.
With funding from UNICEF, HEWASA Programme conducted a study to investigate ‘hand washing with soap’ practice at critical times of the day among mothers and care-givers. 
NETWAS continues to provide financial support to HEWASA Programme to implement the LeaPPS action research in the two Districts OF Kyenjojo and Kamwenge.
SIMAVI has provided funding to support the WASH interventions within the region under the Rwenzori Wash Alliance arrangement. HEWASA Programme serves as the lead agency within the Rwenzori WASH Alliance.
WASTE continues to provide technical and financial support to HEWASA Programme to implement a WASTE Management Programme within the Rwenzori region
Practica is currently providing technical and financial support to HEWASA Programme to pilot low-cost water supply options / technologies within the region 
HEWASA Programme is currently implementing a ‘WASH Sector Governance Improvement Programme’ within the region with funding from DANIDA.
